LSD Talk Groz-Beckert: Sewing in technical detail with those in the know

LSD - Lisbon School of Design continues to invest in training experiences that bring students closer to the real market. In yet another LSD Talk, students from the Fashion Design and Patternmaking courses had the opportunity to learn about needles in a unique moment of sharing and technical knowledge.

LSD Lisbon and LSD Porto hosted two very special editions of our LSD Talks, this time in partnership with Groz-Beckert, a German company and world leader in industrial sewing solutions and innovation.

Under the theme "Sewing needles: technical details and their applications", these sessions were aimed at students on the Fashion Design and Patternmaking courses and explored in depth the universe of needles: their types, specific applications, care in their use and direct impact on the quality of the final product.

The expert gave the presentation Rui Santos, Sales Area Manager at Groz-Beckert Ibérica S.A.UThe students, who not only shared their technical knowledge but also their real industry experiences, promoted a direct dialog between the school and the job market.

This type of initiative reinforces LSD's mission to provide practical, up-to-date experiences in line with the professional sector, adding value to our students' training and preparing them for the real challenges of the fashion industry.
